The AIM Young Manager of the Year 2008 James E Layt Award is one of the many award programs AIM NSW & ACT has created to both celebrate and encourage excellence in management practice.
AIM Young Manager of the Year 2008 James E Layt Award
Following on from the successful launch of this prestigious Award last year, AIM NSW & ACT is recently announced that submissions were open to young managers aged 18 — 35 years who reside and work in NSW or the ACT. Young managers who have made an outstanding contribution to the practice of management, can be nominated by their employers or supervisors, or they can nominate themselves. Business owners employing more than five people were also able to apply or be nominated by their clients or suppliers.

Important Dates
Submissions are now closed and a winner will be announced on 10 November, 2008.
Prize Information
The Award recipient will receive:
- AIM Management Training of their choice to the value of $3,000;
- a complimentary registration to the AIM Management Convention in 2009 worth $2,500; and
- the official James E Layt Award Certificate of Excellence.
About the Award
Launched in 2007, the AIM Young Manager of the Year 2008 James E Layt Award is named after the former Chairman of AIM NSW & ACT, Mr James E Layt, AM, FAIM and the recognises his contribution to the advancement of management practice in Australia.
